I first became interested in Swissys after meeting Maddie a female Swissy bred by Sandra Streit. I instantly loved her temperament and personality, and after knowing her, I knew I wanted to own a Swissy. I decided I wanted a male to show in conformation, who I could also do some working and performance venues with. I contacted Sandra at Remington's Pride, and I picked out Theo, who would eventually become part of the foundation of my breeding program. I later added Tessa as my foundation bitch, to incorporate different bloodlines and some of the qualities I feel are important in a breeding program.
It is our goal to have a well rounded breeding program, with dogs that have the qualities we feel are important to breed, such as temperament, health, working ability, and also dogs that adhere to the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Standard.
We feel that it is important for our dogs to achieve an AKC Championship / Grand Championship and also to achieve some working / performance titles to show their working ability.
We are proud members of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America and follow their code of ethics / breeding practices. We are also members of the Patriot Greater Swiss Mountain dog club, Swissy Club of New England and Lake Shore Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club.
